| 6,5x55; 95% blue, good bore, excellent stock, 29'' barrel, HUSQVARNA M96 MADE FOR THE FSR (VOLUNTEER SHOOTERS MOVEMENT) ON A 1943 DATED RECEIVER WITH A MATCHING BOLT. THE BLUING SHOWS FRECKLING ON THE BARREL. THE BORE IS SEMI BRIGHT WITH LIGHTLY WORN BUT STILL GOOD RIFLING ALONG WITH LIGHT OXIDATION IN THE GROOVES. THE STOCK IS ODD IN THAT IT HAS A MILITARY STOCK DISC NOTING A #2 BORE. THIS IS THE FIRST HUSQVARNA M96 WE'VE ENCOUNTERED WITH A STOCK DISC. THE RIFLE IS FITTED WITH DIOPTER SIGHTS, A PRAMM REAR AND GLOBE FRONT. ADDITIONALLY THE NORMAL REAR SIGHT ( SM SIKLE MICROMETER) IS PRESENT WITH A STAMPED METAL PROTECTOR. MAKING THIS AN INTERESTING VARIATION. IMPORT MARKED., s/n 6943xx |
