| 16 Ga; fair bore, poor stock, 29 7/8'' barrel, Made in 1890. 2 9/16 inch chambers with Full and Cylinder chokes. Blued steel barrels, casehardened frame and mounted in a walnut straight grip stock. The finish on the barrel has been removed, now showing some spotting. The right barrel has dents and a bulge forward of the sling swivel. The stock has been sanded and refinished as some point, with cracks on the top between the tang and both lockplates. An additional screw has been added at the end of the upper tang. The back of the barrel rib above the chambers has been resoldered. Lockup is good and the actions work fine. SOLD AS IS for parts or display. Antique., s/n 159xx |
