| 12 Gauge; fair bore, fair stock, 29.5'' barrel, Later production with Damascus barrels, made circa 1900-1908. Casehardened frame, mounted in a walnut stock with a checkered round knob grip. 2 1/2 inch chambers with Full and Modified chokes. The barrels have been cleaned leaving the Damascus grain faint with some scattered spotting. There is a small dent on top of the left barrel approximately 5.5 inches from the muzzle. The frame and lockplates retain some fading case colors, with some minor spotting. The stock has been sanded, leaving the checkering smooth. There is a hairline crack behind the upper tand and 1 inch cracks on both side of the stock heel, and a chip of wood missing behind the left hammer. The stock is loose as well and will need attention. The actions work fine and barrel lockup is good. C&R/FFL, s/n 261xx |
