| 8mm Mauser; 85% blue, very good bore, fair stock, 23.5'' barrel, Manfuactured in 1944. Small ring Mauser "strengthened" action. Reblued metal finish, mounted in a checkered beechwood stock. Ramped fixed front and fixed rear sights. The receiver has been drilled and tapped with see-thru steel dovetailed bases installed, a Fontaine 4X scope mounted with a dup[lex reticle and excellent optics. The bolt handle has been modified for scope clearance and a right side mounted tang safety has been installed. The stock has an old cleaned up chip on the toe and the buttplate is chipped. Mechanically fine, the bore shows some light frost. C&R/FFL, s/n 486xx |
