| 8mm Mauser; 90% blue, good bore, fair stock, 23.5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1953. FN commercial Mauser 98 action. Original blue finish, mounted in a beechwood stock with checkered grip. Missing the front sight assembly (tape wrapped) and rear sight. Drilled and tapped receiver with Weaver #46 front and #45 rear scope bases installed. Right side mounted tang safety installed. The stock has a crack behind the receiver tang and small cracks on each side of the stock toe. Aftermarket sling swivels have been relocated and installed, and a recoil pad has been added to the stock. The metal has surface rust spotting. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 1543xx |
