| 8mm Mauser; 80% blue, good bore, poor stock, 236.5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1948. FN commercial 98 Mauser action. Original blue finish, mounted in a beechwood stock with checkered grip. Ramped fixed front and fixed rear sights. The left side of the receive rhas been fitted with a side scope mount base. Used, the metal has light surface rust spotting. The stock has a tight 1/2 inch crack behind the receiver tang and several cracks on the butt along the buttplate. The bolt safety has been filed down some for scope clearance. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 578xx |
