| 8mm Mauser; 80% blue, very good bore, good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1945. Small ring Mauser "strengthened" action with original blue finish, mounted in a checkered beechwood stock. Barrel sights have been removed, the receiver drilled and tapped with Weaver #75 front and #45 rear scope bases installed, the bridge filed slightly to fit the base. The bolt handle modified on top for scope clearance and a scope safety installed. The stock has had a high comb added to the top and a vented recoil pad added to the butt. There is a 1/2 crack in the stock behind the receiver tang. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n 858xx |
