| 8mm Mauser; 50% blue, good bore, fair stock, 23.5'' barrel, Manufactured in 1947. 98 Mauser military style action. Original blue finish, mounted in a checkered beechwood stock. Fixed front and rear sights. Receiver fitted with Weaver #46 front and #45 rear scope bases. Right sight mounted tang safety installed. Bolt handle modified slightly for scope clearance. Old tape residue on the left side of the butt. The metal finish is worn with surface rust spotting over all. The stock has a crack behind the receiver tang. Mechanically fine. The bore has strong rifling, showing minor corrosion throughout. C&R/FFL, s/n 509xx |
