| Prussian leather ammunition box circa 1860s for revolvers. Holds 18 rounds of cartridges in loops, indicating possible interior conversion for later cartridge revolvers. Brass plate attached on the flap with Frederic Wilhelm IV cypher. There is a name stamped under the flap "SCHAFFRATH" and the name is written inink as well over a date "5/63". A cleaning rod is attached across the back of the box thru two loops. The box is attached to a white leather shoulder strap. Includes 18 rounds of older commercial 44 Russian ammo. Shipped ground only. Not sure if this rig is assembled properly., |
