| 9mm; Excellent bore, Excellent grips, 4 5/8'' barrel, INGLIS (DIAMOND LOGO) NO1 MKI CHROME PLATED PISTOL. THE RAREST AND MOST DESIRABLE INGLIS VARIANTS ARE THE LATE 1945 PRODUCED PISTOLS WITH THE INGLIS DIAMOND LOGO. ADDED TO THAT THIS EXAMPLE APPEARS TO BE CHROME PLATED WITH WHITE PLASTIC GRIPS. THE CLIVE LAW BOOK "THE INGLIS DIAMOND" ILLUSTRATES A COUPLE OF THESE CHROME PLATED MKIs ON PAGES 129/130 IN HIS BOOK. THIS EXAMPLE IS IN EXCELLENT OVERALL CONDITION, THE PLATED FINISH SHOWS SOME LIGHT SUPERFICIAL SCRATCHES. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH SHARP RIFLING. THJE WHITE PLASTIC GRIPS ARE EXCELLENT WITH A LITTLE DISCOLORATION IN THE RIGHT PANEL. THIS IS A VERY UNIQUE INGLIS DIAMOND., s/n 5CH92xx |
