| 303 British; 80% blue, good bore, good stock, 25.25'' barrel, Ishapore manufacture MKIII*, dated 1917 with the star cancelled and magazine cutoff installed. Marked on the right side of the buttsocket "Crown/G.R.I./ISHAPORE/1917/ShtLE/III". "RFI 1928" rework stamp on the left side of the buttsocket. Original blued finish. Matching serial number bolt, nose cap and forend. Rear sight is non-matching. Walnut stock with normal length butt. Khaki web sling attached. The metal finish has thinned evenly and the stock has small dings and dents overall. Small BDL LTD import mark on the right side of the receiver. The muzzle=.307, the bore is clean showing some wear to the rifling and a bit of darkness in the grooves., s/n 656xxA |
