| 12 Gauge; fair bore, poor stock, 24 5/8'' barrel, Manufactured in England circa 1860s. Browned Damascus barrel, casehardened lockplates, mounted in checkered walnut. Fine engraving on the lockplates and mounts. Single wedge forend. Barrels shortened to length. Missing a trigger guard tang screw and left side hammer screw. Barrel cleaned at some point. The right action works fine, left side will not hold back. The stock forend has cracks on the bottom and the wrist in cracked on both sides. Antique., s/n 26xx |
