| 22 Cal; Manufactured 1868-1882. Brass frame. Seven shot cylinder. Retains none of the originally silver plated finish on the frame. Marked along the left side of the top strap "MY FRIEND PAT'D. DEC. 26, 1865" and on the same side below the cylinder "MY FRIEND". Patina cylinder with some minor spotting. Mechanically fine. Two old hang tags remain attached to the frame, on with illegible writing, the other has written "THIS GUN BELONGED TO MY GRAND FATHER JAMES BACK IN 1885". Antique, s/n 45xx |
