| 60% blue, poor bore, good stock, 26.25'' barrel, NAVAL TYPE 99 RIFLE Manufactured at the Arisaka Arsenal. The front sight is an inverted V without guards (late issue). The rear sight is a ladder style graduated to 2000 meters. The top of the receiver has the Naval Anchor stamped on it. The left side of the receiver has the S/N 18660. The rifle is a mismatch. The metal finish has edge wear and considerable thinning on the receiver. The bore is in poor condition (Corrosion). It has a one-piece buttstock, with a short handguard. The stock has mild handling marks and compression dents. The buttplate has scatter patina. The left buttstock has a circle with Japanese characters inside the circle. The right-side buttstock has Japanese characters inside of a rectangle., s/n 186xx |
