| 6.5mm Japanese; 95% blue, 95% straw, good bore, very good+ stock, 19'' barrel, This is a Type 44 carbine, series 1, 1st quality as indicated by the small circle behind the Kokura arsenal stamp. All matching including dust cover. Inverted V with wide guard’s front sight, open V with folding leaf graduated 400-2000 meter rear sight. Lined out chrysanthemum on receiver. The long type (3rd variation) folding bayonet and dust shield are present. The metal finish has some very light scattered freckling, while the wood has expected nicks, dings and compression dents as well as something carved on left side behind the rear sling swivel.
