| very good grips, Intended for the Japanese Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO), military police, transportation corps and all Master Sergeants in the infantry, engineers or artillery. The blade and scabbard are serial numbered “5272. The scabbard, hilt, and guard are iron. The grip is checkered wood in very good condition. The Blade length is 30.6 in and the Overall length is 37.2 in and the sword length is 36 in. Blade is in the white, as issued, with only a few small nicks. And the obverse has the S/N 5272. Wood handle has no losses, with a very nice age patina – Hilt and guard have a good dark age patina with no pitting – The number matching Scabbard has only minor dents. And has scattered patina overall., s/n 52xx |
