| Scarce in this condition, 19th century vintage gas arc light, as marketed and sold by J.B. Colt company. Original glass globe, measures approximately 7 inches in diameter, with brass fittings. The protective wire may be a replacement. The light itself is in excellent condition, shows little use, the sharp top rim of the globe having some minor chipping. The brass retains the original age patina. These were used in many businesses, including hotels of the period., |
