| 56-50 Spencer RF; 85% blue, poor bore, good stock, 22'' barrel, Joslyn Model 1862 Carbines were made and issued from 1862 through the end of the Civil War. They fired .52 caliber metal rimfire cartridges. Blade type front sight, IS MISSING, and 3-leaf rear sight. Brass trigger guard, buttplate and barrel band are a mustard color. Walnut stock has a few scattered handling mars. 2 cartouche on left side above saddle ring. Bore shows corrosion. ANTIQUE., s/n 11xx |
