| 16 Gauge; 87% blue, very good bore, good stock, 26.75'' barrel, Wartime manufacture, dated September 1944. Eagle/N commercial proofed. Blued finish barrels, 2 9/16" chambers, both chokes gauge Improved Modified. Matted rib with replacement red plastic bead sight. Extractor. Casehardened boxlock action with Greener style crossbolt, double triggers and top mounted cocking indicators. Checkered walnut stock with semi-pistol grip, 14.75" LOP with original plastic buttplate on a 1/2 inch wood extension. Metal grip cap. Latch release forearm. Matching numbers. Used, mechanically fine, very slight up/down barrel play can be felt in lockup. Bright bores. Finish wear on the isdes of the barrels. The buttstock has two plugged screws run thru the wrist area and has been lightly refinished. Our import mark., s/n 3441xx |
