| 16 Gauge; good bore, good stock, 29 5/8'' barrel, Pre-war manufacture, circa 1930s. Original blue finish barrels, casehardened frame and mounted in checkered walnut. 2 1/2 inch chambers with Full and Improved Cylinder chokes. The barrels appear to have been shortened some at the muzzle. Features a boxlock action, extractors, double triggers, side mounted rotating cocking indicators, latch release forearm and a full round knob grip stock with cheekrest. The finish on the barrels has worn to a gray/brown patina with some spotting. The frame has been cleaned, showing some traces of faded case color and has some minor spotting. The wood shows wear with smoothed checkering and many dings and scuffs. The stock has a screw run though the flats behind the frame and is fitted with a replacement plastic buttplate from a Husqvarna gun. Also there is a crack on the left side under the flat. Mechanically the right action is not working properly. Barrel lockup has a tiny bit of up/down play in lockup. C&R/FFL, s/n 1250xx |
