| 12 Gauge; 50% blue, very good bore, fair stock, 27 5/8'' barrel, Manufactured in Germany, dated November 1943. Commercial eagle/N proofs. Original blue finish barrels, casehardened frame and mounted in checkered walnut. 2 1/2 inch chambers with Extra Full and Full chokes. Features a boxlock action with a Greener style crossbolt and top mounted cocking indicators, extractor, double triggers, latch release forearm and a full grip stock with cheekrest and a 14.75 inch LOP. A white spacer has been added under the original bakelite buttplate and metal grip cap. The finish on the barrels show wear and thinning, most loss above the forearm, along with some rust spotting in those areas. There are two minor dents on the sides of both barrel 2-5 inches from the muzzle. The frame has worn mostly bright with only traces of case color. The wood has worn checkering with small dings and scratches overall. There is a minor 1/2 inch crack behind the upper tang. Mechanically fine with tight barrel lockup.C&R/FFL, s/n 3423xx |
