| 16 Ga/8x57JR; 80% blue, excellent bore, good stock, 23 5/8'' barrel, Manufactured in Germany, dated February 1955. Original blue finish barrels, casehardened frame and mounted in checkered walnut. 2 3/4 inch chamber shotgun barrels with Full chokes. The barrels are fitted with double claw mounts with a Hiensoldt Wetzlar Diasta 8 X 52 scope. The scope has a heavy pointer/crosshair reticle with excellent optics. Features a boxlock acton with top mounted cocking indicators and Greener style crossbolt, front set double triggers, extractor, Greener style side mounted safety, tang mounted rifle barrel selector, latch release forearm and a full grip stock with cheekrest, a vented recoil pad fitted with a 14.75 inch LOP. The finish on the barrels shows some wear and thinning. The frame has turned mostly gray. The wood shows some wear to the checkering and handling marks. There are a couple of tiny chip on the buttstock at the joint with the frame. A screw has been run thru the stock flats behind the frame. Mechanically fine with tight barrel lockup.
