| 16 Ga/7x65R; 75% blue, excellent bore, good stock, 23 5/8'' barrel, Manufactured in Germany, dated August 1960. Original blue finish barrels fitted with double claw mounts. Bright finish frame with relief cut game scene engraving. Mounted in checkered walnut. 2 3/4 inch shotgun chambers with Full and Improved Cylinder chokes. Features a Greener style crossbolt and side safety, extractors, top mounted cocking indicators, front set double triggers, latch release forearm and a full grip stock with cheekrest. The stock is fitted with the original plastic buttplate and has a 14.5 inch length of pull. The finish on the barrels shows wear and handling, and the left barrel has a tiny dent about 3.25 inches from the muzzle. Ther frame shows age patina, and the wood has small dings and scuffs overall. The buttplate has a chip missing at the heel. The gun has mounted a K. Kahles Helia 4X scope with pointer/crosshair reticle and good optics. Mechanically fine with tight lockup. The shotgun bores are smooth and clean. The rifle bore has strong rifling with some light frosting in the grooves. C&R/FFL, s/n 4643xx |
