| 8x57mm; 85% blue, very good bore, good stock, 23.5'' barrel, JP Sauer manufacture, stamped on the receiver ring with an eagle/37 proof, "ce" code and 44 date. The right side of the receiver ring is stamped with an eagle/37 and eagle/280 proof. Numbered parts are matching which includes the complete bolt, rear sight assembly and milled floorplate. Stamped trigger guard marked with a "byf" code and eagle/135 proof. Stamped welded upper and lower bands are not marked. Original cleaning rod. Sight hood may be a reproduction. Laminated stock and handguard. The stock is un-numbered externally or internally, stamped on the right side with an eagle/H mark. Also has a large hand carved P. Cupped buttplate. Handguard is mis-matched, marked on the underside. Missing the handguard retaining ring at the front of the rear sight base. No import marks. The bore is bright with sharp rifling, does have a spot or two of rust visible., s/n 20xxu |
