| 16 Ga/8x57JR; 75% blue, good bore, good stock, 23 5/8'' barrel, Pre-WW2 manufacture in Germany, dated May 1937. Original blue finish barrels, floral relief engraved frame, mounted in checkered walnut. 2 9/16 inch chambers with Full and Modified chokes. Beaded fixed front sight, flip up rear rifle sight. Barrels fitted with dovetail bases, a Luxor 4X scope is mounted. The scope has a pointer/crossbars reticle with excellent optics. Boxlock action with crossbolt and top mounted cocking indicators. Greener style side safety. Double triggers, single set front. Pistol grip stock with cheekrest, 14.25 inch LOP with the original buttplate. Missing the lower sling swivel. The barrel finish is browning with light spotting over all. The frame has light spotting as well. The forearm is dark with worn checkering. The action functions fine, the tang mounted rifle barrel selector does not lock into place, flipping up the rear sight, the button must be held forward to fire the rifle barrel. Barrel lockup is good. C&R/FFL, s/n 196xx |
