| 303 British; 95% blue, very good bore, very good stock, 25.25'' barrel, BSA Co 1915 manufacture MKIII wth cutoff slot in receiver, FTR rework dated 1953. Black paint finish, mounted in beechwood forend and handguards, walnut buttstock. Matching nose cap and forend, curiously the bolt is serial number X63085 while the rifle number is X53085, a possible factory mistake. Electro-penciled on left side of receiver "FTR 1953". The rifle has a U.S. M1907 leather sling attached made by W.T.& B. Co and dated 1918, matching halves, which is in very nice condition, although not original British issue it is a nice bonus. Rifle shows some light wear and handling. The bore has shine and sharp rifling. Mechanically fine. C&R/FFL, s/n X530xx |
