| 303 British; 92% blue, good bore, good stock, 25.25'' barrel, Enfield manufacture, dated 1915. Australian ownership marked D/Broad arrow on the left side of the receiver ring. Blued finish, walnut butt and handguards, coachwood forend. Numbered parts are matching, bolt and nose cap. Australian applied matching serial number on the right side of the buttstock. S marked (short) buttstock. Green painted stripe on butt denotes cadet use. Rear sight leaf is Australian mfr., remainder of parts are of British manufacture. Retains the magazine cutoff. Jovino import marked on top of the barrel behind the rear sight. The bore has strong rifling however is a bit dark throughout. Muzzle=.304., s/n G84xx |
