| 12 Ga; excellent bore, good stock, 28'' barrel, Manufactured by Ithaca Gun Company from 1921 through 1948, these guns are field grade, with blue finish barrels, casehardened frame and a checkered walnut stock. 2 3/4 inch chambers with Full and Modified chokes. Marked on top of the right barrel "LEFEVER NITRO SPECIAL" and on the left barrel "LEFEVER ARMS, BRANCH ITHACA GUN CO. INC. ITHACA, N.Y.". Features a boxlock action, extractors, double triggers, pressure release forearm and a full grip stock fitted with the original plastic buttplate. 14.25 inch LOP. The finish on the barrels has thinned to a spotty patina with traces of the original blue in the protected areas. The case color on the frame has faded, leaving only traces. The wood shows some minor handling marks and smoothed checkering. The wood is overall good, however the forearm has a repaired 4 inch crack on the bottom.
