| 8mm Mauser; 70% blue, fair bore, good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Manufactured in Belgium by FN. Original blue finish and walnut stock. The top of the receiver ring is stamped with the Lithuanian gate motif over the model designation "24L.". Non-matching straight handle bolt is Czech manufacture. The stock has a non-matching number stamped on the left side "5387". No import markings. Missing the cleaning rod. Front sight protector attached. A very scarce Mauser variant, with an estimated 20,000 being delivered to Lithuania. Many of these rifles ended up in Soviet service, some even being captured by Finland during Russian incursions there. Others that ended up being taken by the Russians showed up during the Korean War in use by the Chinese and North Korean armys. The attrition rate of these rifles was high.
