| Commercially manufactured military style holster, early 1908 style with pouch for cleaning rod on the leading edge and pin punch tool pouch along the takedown tool pouch under the flap. Unmarked except for a name handwritten under the flap. Unusual as the holsters flap buckle has black enamel finish, of which approximtely 80% finish remains. Includes a copy of a 1932-1933 Swiss catalog which advertises a similar type holster. Also includes an original loop handled 4 inch cleaning rod, unmarked takedown tool and pin punch tool. Over all this rare holster is in very good condition, however the flap hinge is stitching appears to have been carefully removed, likely to repair the stitching which was never finished. Easy restoration. Leather is supple., |
