| 451 Caliber; 80% blue, good bore, very good stock, 36'' barrel, Manufactured in England. Lockplate marked "M.A. TAYLOR / SHEFFIELD". Modern British black powder proofing. Blued finish round barrel with windage adjustable aperture front sight. Sight is missing the nut for the windage screw. Military type ladder rear sight. Base for a rear aperture sight mounted on top of the stock wrist. No sight however. Plain walnut stock with pistol grip. Brass buttplate. Single forend wedge. Lock functions fine. The top of the breech is engraved "HAWKINS BARREL". Used and shows some age. Small crack between the lock and barrel. Includes two extra front sight apertures., s/n A39xx |
