| 44 WCF; fair bore, good stock, 20'' barrel, Manufactured inj 1891. Gray metal with dark rust spotting over all. Original plain walnut stock. Round barrel with original fixed front and ladder rear sights. Top of frame marked "MARLIN SAFETY". Top of barrel marked with the Marlin address, 1887 and 1889 patent dates in two lines. Complete and mechanically fine. The bore has strong riflling, with pitting throughout. Antique, s/n 618xx |
