| 25-36MARLIN; 20% blue, fair bore, very good stock, 20'' barrel, Manufactured in 1904, this Model 1893 Marlin is mechanically solid, showing only honest use, no abuse. With a 20" octagon barrel, it center balances well in hand, iron sights are intact with a Marble No2 in front, there may have had a tang sight mounted long ago…I always look at the screws to see if someone opened a gun up with a prybar…these standard screw heads are still sharp, maybe nobody been in there. Nice wood for such an old timer, looks un-refinished…we like that., s/n 2978xx |
