THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH MINTY MICRO GROOVE RIFLING. THE CHECKERED STOCK AND FOREARM SHOW NO WEAR. THIS IS A TRANSITIONAL RIFLE ASSEMBLED BY REMINGTON USING LEFT OVER MARLIN PARTS. THE BARREL IS STILL MARKED NORTH HAVEN CONN BUT HAS NO "JM" MARK. IT DOES HAVE THE "RP" AT THE RIGHT REAT OF THE BARREL.
