| 7x57mm; 95% blue, excellent bore, excellent stock, 29'' barrel, Used in the Boer War in the African Orange Free State and ZAR, (Zuid-Afrikaansche Republiek), South African Republic. Stock has large initials of PK on right side, smaller initials of PK, 1899 / ZAR and Randfontein, (city near Johannesburg) on left side. British captured and proofed during or after the war. Matching numbers. Excellent bright bore. British and Dutch fought a short colonial war, Brits the victor at a high cost. A very historic rifle.
