| very good bore, 29.25'' barrel, Believe this barrel to be from a Peruvian 1909 Mauser rifle, chambered for 7.65x54mm. Barrel is not serial numbered, stamped on the left side of the chamber "S.J.G.". Rear sight base for the standard GEW98 tangent sight. Starting thread has a burr. Vice mark on the chamber. Bore is VG, shows light wear and minor corrosion in the grooves, strong rifling. Worn blued finish with areas of rust and pitting externally. |
