| 7x57mm; 95% blue, poor bore, good stock, 29'' barrel, Manufactured by Mauser for the Mexican Military in 1932. The serial numbers are non-matching the first domestically manufactured Mexican Mauser rifle with approximately 40,000 manufactured between 1910 and 1934, the year it was phased out of active service. Inverted "V" blade front and adjustable ladder rear sights graduated from "1" to "18", standard maker's mark, Mexican national crest, and "1932" year of manufacture on the receiver ring. The metal condition scattered patina and thinning. Wood is good with minor dents and dings, no cracks. Bore has strong rifling and is dark in the grooves. Good overall condition., s/n 163xx |
