THE RIFLE HAS ALL MATCHING NUMBERS AND RETIANS APPROX 80% OF ITS BLUING. THESE EARLY PORTUGUESE CONTRACT RIFLES HAD THE PORTUGUESE CREST ON THE RECEIVER BUT NOT ON THE BUTTSTOCK LIKE THE LATER EXAMPLES. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH SHARP RIFLING.
