| 8x57mm; 98% blue, very good bore, good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Reblued metal finish, walnut stock and handguard. Stock has faint eagle/WaA63 proofs and an eagle/L Luftwaffe proof. Recoil lug is stamped with an eagle/63 proof. Stamped on top of the receiver ring with the Mauer code "42" and date 1939. The top of the barrel chamber is stamped with rework markings "S/243 1941". Eagle/swaztika military acceptance marks are located on the left side of the barrel and receiver ring. The right side of the receiver ring is stamped with three eagle/655 proofs. The right side of the rear sight base sleeve is stamped with three eagle/WaA63 proofs. Numbered parts are all matching, with some appearing to be force matched. Parts are stamped with either eagle./63 or eagle/WaA63 proofs. The handguard is unmarked. Parts are milled except the trigger guard, which is numbered to match, with a "qnw" code. No import markings found. The bore is bright with strong rifling., s/n 53xxx |
