| 8x57mm; 85% blue, very good bore, good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Original blued finish. Walnut stock and beechwood handguard. Matching serial numbers except the bolt, which matches itself, and the stock. Trigger guard screws match as well. S/42 Mauser code stamped on top of the receiver ring over the date 1937. Droop eagle military acceptance marks stamped on the left side of the barrel and receiver ring. The right side of the receiver ring is stamped with three droop eagle/63 proofs. The right side of the rear sight base is stamped with two eagle/WaA63 proofs. Small parts are stamped with eagle/WaA63 proofs. The bayonet lug is matching serial numbered. Stock is numbered 3338c/K with droop eagle/WaA108 proofs. Leather sling in fair serviceable condition. Repro 10" cleaning rod. Wood and metal show wear and handling. The bore has strong rifling, some darkness along the grooves. No import marks., s/n 75xxa |
