THESE WERE MANUFACTURED BY MAUSER IN THE MID 1930s FOR THE POLICE IN BUENOS AIRES AND MARKED ON THE RECIEVER RING. ALL ARE NUMBERED BETWEEN 1000 AND 1500. THE BLUING HAS LIGHTLY OXIDIZED AND DULLED OVERALL. THE BORE HAS FROST WITH LIGHTLY WORN RIFLING WITH LIGHT OXIDATION PRESENT. THE STOCK IS SOLID SHOWING NUMEROUS LIGHT DINGS, SCRATCHES AND COMPRESSION DENTS. THE RECEIVER BEARS A VERY FAINT MAUSER BANNER., s/n 14xx |
