| 8x57Js; 50% blue, very good bore, very good stock, 24'' barrel, Mauser Type B 8X60 rifle. The barrel and receiver and bolt are numbers correct. The metal finish is thinning and has edge wear overall. The barrel has 8X60 NORM and the receiver has CROWN/N and the S/N and Mauser Werke A.G. Oberndorf a/n. The front sight is a ramped blade and the rear is a two blade flip up U notch. The receiver has a PECAR / BERLIN 4x81 scope with clear optics. The walnut stock with check piece, has a soft rubber ridge added to the comb. It has a, steel pistol grip cap, checkered grip, lever release floorplate, hard rubber Mauser buttplate. A rare Mauser discontinued in 1938. Import marked., s/n 1138xx |
