| 9mm Luger; 90% blue, excellent bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, V suffix commercial manufacture, this is the highest v suffix commercial banner we have seen and is actually inside the Police banner serial number range. Original blue finish and matching number checkered walnut grips. All matching except the unmarked magazine, a blued sheet steel variation with aluminum base. Stamped on top of the toggle with the Mauser banner logo and on top of the chamber with the date 1939. Commercial crown/U proofs appear on the end of the front sight base, left side of the receiver and left side of the breechbolt. The metal finish shows sharp edge and high point holster wear, with thinning on the right side rail and the grip frame straps. The grip panels show some handling and a couple small areas of compression to the checkering. Mechanically fine with a clean sharp bore. C&R/FFL, s/n 89xxv, Catalog Number B-22 |
