| 7.63mm Mauser; 94% blue, fair bore, very good grips, 5.5'' barrel, Austrian military proofed and dated over the right side of the barrel extension "Wn/eagle/'15". Austrian unit marked on the backstrap "FR 572" (Fortress Artillery). Original blued finish. Walnut grips. Matching serial numbers including the grips. Fixed front sight, tangent rear sight graduated 50-1000 meters. Stamped on top of the barrel knox "WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER/OBERNDORF A/N" and on the right side of the frame "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER / OBERNDORF A.NECKAR". 95% fire blued finish on the trigger. Lanyard ring is a replacement. The metal finish is showing some sharp edge wear along with some high point holstering wear at the front corners and sides of the frame rails. The bore has strong rifling however has heavy frost thoughout., s/n 2005xx |
