| 7.63mm Mauser; 85% blue, good bore, very good grips, 5.5'' barrel, Rare cone hammer Turkish contract "broomhandle" pistol with original blued finish and grooved walnut grips. Fire blued small parts about 50%. Matching farsi numberals. Fixed front sight, original tangent rear sight, Bulgarian modified with range graduation numbers stamped in standard numerals 1-10. Standard Mauser Oberndorf markings on top of chamber, both sides of the receiver are stamped with a 6 point star. Left side of the frame specially milled for this contract is marked with the crest of Sultan Abdul-Hamid II, ruler of Turkey at the time, over the Islamic calender date of 1314 (1896). In exceptional condition for this variation, the finish shows edge and high point wear, most finish gone from the grip frame, and rubs on the barrel from stock insertion. The right side of the magazine housing has two shallow dents which do not seem to interfere with follower function. The bore is bright with strong rifling, shows light frost throughout.
