| 7x57mm; 95% blue, excellent bore, good stock, 29'' barrel, Chilean contract manufactured in Germany by Ludwig Loewe in Berlin. Original blued finish, walnut stock and handguard. Matching serial numbers including the cleaning rod. No import markings. Inverted V fixed front sight. Ladder rear sight. Sharp Chilean crest on top of receiver ring. Clear Chilean crest on left side of stock butt with 1895 date. Generous fire blue finish remains on certain small parts. The stock has handling dings and scratches overall but nothing major or detractive. Included is a Chilean 1895 bayonet with scabbard, blade in excellent condition, walnut handles have a few dings. The bayonet does not match the rifle however the bayonet and scabbard match each other. The bayonet was manufactured by Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Co of Solingen., s/n E7xx |
