| 22 Caliber; 98% blue, excellent bore, very good stock, 26'' barrel, This rifle is featured in Training Rifles of Third Reich Germany compiled by Robert Simpson on pages 96 and 108. This rifle has a "800" hallmarked silver presentation plaque on the right side of the stock that is engraved, "Sporttag der Brigade 147 7 Juni 1936 Preis des Kreisamts Friedberg". This was a shooting prize in Friedberg for an event on June 7, 1936. It has a matching bolt, muzzle cap and cleaning rod. The stock has a couple of gouges and scratches. Another presentation from the same event, Mauser DSM s/n 33896, "Prize from County Bank of Giessen".
