| 22 Caliber; 93% blue, mint bore, good stock, 26'' barrel, FROM THE PRIVATE COLLECTION OF ROBERT SIMPSON COMES THIS EXTREMELY RARE ONLY KNOWN DSM-37 TRAINING RIFLE WITH MATCHING NUMBERS. THE RIFLE IS REFERENCED ON PAGES 86/87/88 & 89 IN MR SIMPSONS BOOK "TRAINING RIFLES OF THE THIRD REICH GERMANY". THIS IS VERY LIKELY AND PERHAPS THE ONLY PROTOTYPE DSM-37 MADE. THERE ARE NO MAKER OR MODEL MARKINGS, JUST THE 459 AND BUG PROOFS. THE BLUING IS BRIGHT OVERALL WITH HEAVY FRECKLING ON THE BARREL. THE DEEP BUING IS EVEN ON THE RECEIVER AND TRIGGER GUARD. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH MINTY RIFLING. THE MATCHING STOCK WAS BROKEN THRU AT THE WRIST BUT PROFFESSIONALLY REPARED BY VERY TIGHT SLICING., s/n 1xx |
