| 9mm Luger; 80% blue, 70% straw, good bore, good grips, 4'' barrel, Original blue finish and checkered walnut grips. Matching except the magazine which is numbered 5555v/+ with a stick wing eagle/63 proof. The grips are not numbered. The top of the toggle is stamped with the Mauser code S/42 and the top of the chamber is stamped with the date code G (1935). The right side of the receiver is stamped with a droop wing eagle/63 proof, an S92 proof and a droop wing eagle military acceptance stamp. The right side of the barrel is sideways stamped with a droop wing eagle acceptance mark and the left side of the breechbolt is stamped with the droop wing eagle acceptance stamp as well. A small droop wing eagle proof appears on the left side of the barrel. There is a name lightly carved into the front grip strap and the same name is carved into the back of the left grip panel. The metal finish is thinning overall, especially on the grip straps. The grips show handling and have been coated with varnish at some point, which now shows some wear. Mechanically fine though the hold open is not functioning properly and the magazine is missing the depressor button. The bore is strong, showing some frost in the grooves.
