| 8mm Mauser; 90% blue, excellent bore, very good stock, 29'' barrel, Rare early Third Reich era cutaway training rifle utilizing a Gew 98 S/42 reworked gun. Original blued finish and walnut stock. Right side of rear sight base stamped "S/42" and with two eagle/WaA63 proofs. Bottom of forend is stamped with an "Eagle/H.Za.Jt 10". All numbered parts are matching including the screw heads. Missing one of the small retaining screws for the trigger guard. Full factory cutaway showing internal parts fit and function. Provenance: From the collection of Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess.
